Readings in Philippine History
The course analyzes Philippine history from multiple perspectives through the lens of selected primary sources coming from various disciplines and of different genres. Students are given opportunities to analyze the author's background and main arguments, compare different points of view, identify biases and examine the evidences presented in the document. The discussions will tackle traditional topics in history and other interdisciplinary themes that will deepen and broaden their understanding of Philippine political, economic, cultural, social, scientific and religious history. Priority is given to primary materials that could help students develop their analytical and communication skills. The end goal is to develop the historical and critical consciousness of the students so that they will become versatile, articulate, broad- minded, morally upright and responsible citizens.
This course includes mandatory topics on the Philippine Constitution, agrarian reform, and taxation.

Customer Relationship Management sy 22-23
This
course provides a comprehensive guide to building a strong relationship with
potential and existing customers in relation to business. The students shall be able to learn how to successfully
implement strategies, practices and technologies in order to win new customers
and retain existing ones and be able to evaluate the effectiveness and impact
of CRM to the company. The course shall
also provide introduction on CRM Technology and Data Platforms, Database and
Data Management and the role of Business Intelligence in CRM. In addition, this course shall also discuss
the ethical concerns pertaining to customer privacy concerns. At the end of the
course the student must be able to explore SAP B1 CRM modules and proposed a
CRM software design for a specific business or institution.
Event Driven Programming
This is a course in event-driven programming building on prior programming experience. Topics include algorithm development, structured design, object-oriented, event-driven programming, and file processing. The course covers topics in control arrays, exception handling, and the use of properties, controls, and multiple forms. Introduces database manipulation and database controls, including use of dynamic link libraries (DLLs); dynamic data exchanges (DDEs); object linking and embedding (OLEs), and programming applications to display, edit, and update databases by use of the data access object (DAO) and Language Integrated Query (LINQ).
LIEC213 PRESERVATION OF INFORMATION RESOURCES 2022
An introduction to the theories, practices and issues in preservation of information resources to include but not limited to paper and AV materials. At the end of course, the students will exhibit actual examples of damaged records candidate for preventive conservation, will make an archival storage enclosure containing the pre-operative treatment of the personal archival documents, and will craft a disaster preparedness plan that is used as precautionary measures in the event of potential disasters in the library collection.
NSTP - CWTS (AY23-24)
This is a (3) three - unit course designed to train the youth to contribute to the improvement of the greater welfare and quality of life of the Filipinos. It requires the student to carry our projects and activities in their assigned community in coordination with the concerned government or local agency.

GE3 THE CONTEMPORARY WORLD - BSNED 1A
This course introduces students to the contemporary world by examining the multifaceted phenomenon of globalization. Using the various disciplines of the social sciences, it examines the economic, social, political, technological, and other transformations that have created an increasing awareness of the interconnectedness of peoples and places around the globe. To this end, the course provides an overview of the various debates in global governance, development, and sustainability. Beyond exposing the student to the world outside the Philippines, it seeks to inculcate a sense of global citizenship and global ethical responsibility. This course includes mandatory topics on population education in the context of population and demography.
