Emphasis is placed upon the Information system development techniques and tools in which technical, organizational, and human aspects of a system are analyzed and changed to create an improved system. Thus, the course covers managerial and technical topics related to managing systems and development projects, including organizational problem solving, software used to manage projects, analyzing and documenting systems, designing new approaches, and implementing the plan. It also introduces the recent coverage of alternative methodologies to SDLC, such as rapid prototyping and agile development techniques.

Computer Application in Business- Summer SY2021- 2022
This course is
designed to improve students’ performance in using information technology (IT)
related to the business environment, particularly in utilizing business
productivity software applications such as word processing, spreadsheets,
presentations, and Internet use for business purposes. Students will perform activities
with emphasis on application integration as applied to organizational tasks to
provide avenues for critical thinking and creativity, and to inculcate professional
behavior. They will also undertake research analysis and mock business proposal
as their terminal performance tasks for this course.
