This course covers the study of a developing special field with emphasis on dealing with the difficulties in health care management caused by emergencies and disasters through prevention and mitigation, preparedness, response, recovery and rehabilitation efforts.  It also provides the essential principles of a sound disaster health and emergency management as a preparation to its application to the field.
